Former Green Bay Packers cornerback Chandon Sullivan is one of the true feel-good stories in the NFL. Once an undrafted free agent, Sullivan signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018. "My top memories playing for the Packers were making the NFC Championship Game two seasons in a row. We won a lot of games in my three years there, and that was awesome. But I think also just the bonds I made with the guys in that locker room. It really is a special place."
Of course, after the 2021 season, Chandon Sullivan was a free agent. He discussed the decision to go to Minnesota:
"The transition from Green Bay to Minnesota was full of emotions. I had some fun times. I got a chance to prove myself in this league and won a lot of games. But at the end of the day, I felt that the best thing for me was to go and become a Viking."
As all Packers fans are aware, Za’Darius Smith also left the Packers for the Vikings. When we asked Chandon Sullivan about Smith’s influence on his decision, he said:
"Za’Darius called me and told me, ‘I want you to come and be part of something special.’ Some of my former coaches are also on staff here, so that kind of helped my decision and made the transition a little easier."
