Earlier in the 2015 Holiday season we collaborated with Make-a-Wish Wisconsin and Gannett Media Wisconsin to introduce you to our partner Green Bay Packer James Jones’ newest friend, 8-year-old Maggie.

Maggie, who was diagnosed with leukemia at only 6-years-old, met Jones and unveiled her holiday drawing on a very special November day. Her drawing was created into an one of a kind postcard that was sold at Fox Valley Copps and Pick n’ Save locations during the holiday season. All net proceeds made from the postcards were to be donated to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Make-a-Wish Wisconsin.
Today, we are honored and humbled to announce that Maggie’s postcard raised almost $5,000 for two very influential and inspiring organizations.
We want to thank Make-a-Wish Wisconsin, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Gannett for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful case, the Catch-a-Star program. We also want to send out a huge thank you to anyone who bought one of Maggie’s cards, you made someone's Holiday a little bit sweeter this year.

Mayfield Sports Marketing, Good Karma Brands’ ESPN Wisconsin and Destination Kohler announce 2nd annual radio show featuring former Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Wide Receiver Antonio Freeman. ‘The End Zone with Antonio Freeman,’ will air live from the historic tap room, the Horse & Plow at The American Club in Kohler, Wis.
The one-hour show will air at 6 p.m. on Mondays during the 2015-16 football season on 540 ESPN in Milwaukee, 100.5 ESPN Madison and ESPNWisconsin.com.

Green Bay Packer comes to support Toys for Tots in Escanaba
The Toys for Tots campaign is off to a good start in Ecanaba this year. The goal is make sure every child in need in that area has toys under the tree come Christmas morning - and the first day of the push for toys got a lot of people to donate thanks to Green Bay Packers cornerback Davon House.
Outside the Walmart this evening members of Escanaba Public Safety, Marine Corp. Reserve and other dignitaries greeted people who filed inside. If they bought a toy and put it in the toys for tots bin they could then say hello to Packers cornerback Davon House.
A lot of good cheer tonight by everyone who wants to make this happy holiday for the less privileged.
Davon House, Packers cornerback, said, "What I get out of it, I love children anything that's dealing with children, I'm there so, Mark gave me a call told me that they are looking for a player to come out here help out and I was willing to do it."
Christine Baur, Store Manager, said, "It is amazingly gratifying. I'm a mom, I was a single mom so I know how hard it is when you don't have something for your children on Christmas so this is a way to give something back to our local community and make sure all the children of Delta County wake up to a great Christmas."

When it comes to covering all things related to the Green Bay Packers, content is king.

The latest to get involved is WOKY-AM 920.
iHeartMedia (the new name for Clear Channel stations) and former NFL player Gilbert Brown will launch "Gravedigger Radio" at 6 p.m. on Oct. 3.
"First I want to thank iHeartMedia for letting me bring my brand of sports talk to their listeners. I am so excited to be able to have my own show! Gravedigger Radio gives me the chance to be myself and to share my knowledge of football, sports and life with the fans," Brown said.
Brown played defensive line for the Green and Gold, earning the nick-name the Grave Digger, for his ability to get tackles and figuratively burry his opponents.
This season, his hour-long program will run on The Big 920 in Milwaukee, on 1070 AM and 100.9 FM in Madison, on 1400 AM in Eau Claire and will be streamed through the iHeartRadio digital app.

William Henderson played twelve seasons for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Henderson was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1995, and has played every season in his career with the Packers. He came into the league as number 30, but after cornerback Doug Evans left, changed his number to 33.
Henderson was durable and effective for the Packers, solidifying the team at fullback after moving into the starting role in 1996. Nine times in his first 11 seasons he played in all 16 games. He was a major force on the 1996 SUPER BOWL PACKERS TEAM. He was also selected to the 2004 Pro Bowl.
Henderson blocked for six of the top nine individual Packer rushers including Dorsey Levens and Ahman Green. Henderson was also valuable as pass-catcher out of the backfield.
GM Ted Thompson released the following statement in 2007 upon William’s retirement. "The Packers organization is extremely appreciative of his efforts over the past 12 seasons. His leadership and work ethic set an excellent example for everyone in our locker room. It is difficult to part with a high-character individual like William. He has been an influential person on several outstanding Packers teams over his career. He always will be considered a Packer."
Off the field, Henderson enjoys spending time with his family. He is also an active businessman including his new venture Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt. Sweet Frog has opened numerous new stores around Wisconsin in the last 18 months with more to come. Henderson enjoys spending time with Packer fans and today’s youth as well as speaking to many non-profit organizations.
