Isaiah McDuffie continues to build his reputation as one of the Packers’ promising defenders. While he may not get the same attention as some bigger NFL guys, McDuffie has earned immense love across Wisconsin due to his consistency, versatility, and production on defense.
That fame showed again before the Milwaukee Brewers hosted the St. Louis Cardinals at American Family Field. Wearing a blue “Wisco” Brewers jersey with No. 58 across the front, McDuffie walked onto the field for the ceremonial first pitch before the game. Fans inside the stadium quickly recognized the Packers linebacker as cameras followed him toward the mound.

Videos shared from the stadium showed Isaiah McDuffie calmly delivering a clean strike directly toward home plate. Folks sitting behind the plate immediately reacted while several people recorded the memorable moment.
The Brewers later shared photos and clips from McDuffie’s appearance on social media, and several Packers and Wisconsin sports pages reposted the throw throughout the night.
The appearance gave McDuffie another public moment in his stunning profile in Green Bay. The Packers gave McDuffie a two-year extension in March 2025 after he carved out a big role in Jeff Hafley’s defense. He backed it up this season, too, continuing to produce as one of Green Bay’s perfect LBs.
This season, McDuffie finished the year with 92 total tackles, 47 solo tackles, one sack, and one interception. He also contributed on special teams and handled multiple LB assignments throughout the season. Coaches regularly relied on him because of his communication and ability to adjust during games.
The positive atmosphere carried directly into the Brewers' game. Milwaukee beat St. Louis 5-1 behind a dominant outing from rookie pitcher Jacob Misiorowski. The hard-throwing right-hander struck out 12 Cardinals hitters and carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning before St. Louis finally got its first hit.
The Brewers' offense also delivered early support. William Contreras opened the scoring with an RBI single before Christian Yelich followed with a two-run homer in the first inning. Milwaukee controlled the game from there and strengthened its position in the NL Central standings.
However, one of the priceless reactions inside the stadium came before the first inning even began. McDuffie’s appearance once more brought together Packers and Brewers fans, and his clean throw added another memorable Wisconsin sports moment beyond Lambeau Field.
