Join the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation as they host the 2019 Starr Children’s Fund Punt Pass Kick competition. Partnering with Cousins Subs, this event allows children ages 6-13 to help kids with a cancer diagnosis by taking part in this exciting football challenge at local area stadiums.
For a $10 donation area youth can punt, pass, and kick their way to helping children diagnosed with cancer at three local events in Fox Valley, Madison, and Milwaukee. Same day cash or check registration is available at events gates with all proceeds going towards pediatric cancer research and care.
There are four age groups for girls and boys to compete in with sign-in for each age group beginning one hour prior to it’s start time:
Participants in each age group will have the opportunity to win medals and Cousins Subs gift cards.
Two fan favorites will be attending local Punt Pass Kick events, meeting with participants and available for autographs and photos. One of the best defensive players in NFL history and a member of the Denver Broncos 50th Anniversary team, Champ Bailey redefined the cornerback position in the modern era. With 908 tackles and 52 interceptions (four of which were returned for touchdowns), Bailey was selected to the Hall on his first ballot.
A three-time first-team All-Pro and 12 time Pro Bowler, Bailey currently ranks 26th on the all-time NFL interception list. He played in 11 playoff games with the Broncos and helped them reach Super Bowl XLVIII in his final season.
The 2004 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Baltimore Raven Ed Reed joins the HOF on his first ballot, and it’s easy to see why. The list of accomplishments in his twelve-year NFL career is lengthy: Pro Bowl nine times, first-team All-Pro five times, Super Bowl XLVII champion. Reed was an integral part of a Ravens defensive unit that was the best in the league for nearly a decade.
With 64 career interceptions, Reed currently sits number seven all time, and he is tied for 11th place on the NFL’s career pick-six list. Reed is the second Ravens defensive player in as many years to be inducted after Ray Lewis went in last year.
Fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Falcons know that, without question, Tony Gonzalez is the best tight end ever to play the game. There is no other tight end in NFL history with more receiving yardage or total catches than Gonzalez. When he finished his career at age 37, he had amassed 1,325 receptions resulting in 15,127 receiving yards and 111 touchdowns.
In the NFL’s record books, Gonzalez currently ranks #8 in receiving touchdowns, #6 in receiving yardage, and #2 (behind the great Jerry Rice) in total receptions. Not bad for a two-sport athlete out of Berkeley (yes, in addition to playing football, he led Cal to a Sweet Sixteen berth in the NCAA basketball tournament)!
The third time's the charm for New England Patriots defensive standout, Ty Law. During a ten year career with the Patriots, Law helped the team go to four Super Bowls and walked away with a ring three times. Law currently ranks #24 on the NFL’s all-time interception list and #11 on the pick-six list.
After finishing his career with the Jets, Chiefs, and Broncos, Law’s final career stat line includes 53 interceptions with seven returned for touchdowns, 838 tackles, five sacks, and five fumble recoveries. His interception for a touchdown in Super Bowl XXXVI remains one of the greatest moments in Patriots football history.
Over 300 children came out to Wilmer Amina Carter High School for Kenny Clark's Football camp for an opportunity to play football and learn life lessons with former Carter alum and current Green Bay Packers defensive lineman, Kenny Clark at his “Dreams Come True” football camp.“
This is the third year for Kenny Clark's football camp and the participant numbers keep going up. The turnout for this year’s camp was amazing and provided an opportunity for one of San Bernardino’s finest sons to return home and give back to the community that gave him his start.
The kids spent the day participating in football drills, learning new skills and hearing valuable life lessons not only from Clark himself but also a handful of other NFL players such as Clark’s Green Bay teammate Jamaal Williams, Atlanta Falcons safety Damontae Kazee, Tampa Bay Buccaneer Caleb Benenoch, and Tennessee Titan Jayon Brown.
The camp was sponsored by Angel Tree, a division of Prison Fellowship, a group which Clark personally supports.
There are currently 2.7 million children who are experiencing what life is like with a parent who is incarcerated. For Kenny Clark, his experience having a father in prison in San Luis Obispo made him very grateful for the support he received from Angel Tree.
Angel Tree has numerous programs to help support children and make sure their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. A four-star recruit at Carter High School, Kenny Clark went on to a first-team All-Pac-12 and third-team All-American career at UCLA. After a standout junior year capped by a career-best 11 tackle performance in the Foster Farms Bowl, Clark declared for the draft and was taken 27th overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 2016 NFL draft.
His 2018 season proved to be a breakout season, as he recorded 55 tackles and six sacks. He was named a Pro Bowl alternate and was rewarded with the Packers picking up the fifth-year on his contract. One of the stars of the DL, Clark is looking forward to the 2019 season and hopes to bring a championship back to Green Bay.

Looming storms, heat and humidity didn’t stop Green Bay Packer fans from coming out to meet Super Bowl XLV Champion Nick Collins last night as the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters hosted the Kenosha Kingfish.
While fans knew of his football greatness, many were surprised when he shared baseball was actually his first passion, even being drafted by the Atlanta Braves out of high school. Needing to focus on one sport while attending Bethune-Cookman, Collins thankfully choose football, being drafted by the Packers in 2005 in the second round of the draft.
During his seven seasons with Green Bay Collins played in three Pro Bowls, was a three-time Second-Team All-Pro, NFC Interception co-leader in 2008, NFL interception return yards leader in 2008, and Super Bowl XLV champion. In 2016, Collins efforts and accomplishments with the Packers were further recognized as he was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.

Debuting against the Chicago Bears in the Green Bay Packer’s season-opener, Jaire posted three solo tackles during the Packer’s 24-23 win. He earned his first half-sack the following week during the teams tie with the Minnesota Vikings and his first career interception in week four in a game the Packer’s easily won 22-0 against the Buffalo Bills.
In total, Alexander finished the 2018 season with 11 starts, one quarterback hit along with a half-sack, 11 pass breakups, one interception, three tackles that resulted in lost yardage, and 66 total tackles. He led the Packers in defended passes while finishing second in total tackles behind Blake Martinez and being recognized by Pro Football Focus as the NFL cornerback with the highest percentage of contested passes during the 2018 season.

Mayfield Sports and Green Bay Packer Aaron Jones were on hand the evening of Saturday, June 1, 2019, as the Green Bay Booyah hosted their home opener against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at Capital Credit Union Park with Booyah mascot, Rocky Bal-Booyah surprising fans with a helicopter entrance prior to the Booyah taking the field.
Jones, wearing a personalized #33 Booyah jersey was around before the game to meet, sign commemorative autographs, and take photos with fans before throwing out the first pitch of the game.
"I'm here to throw out the first pitch and meet some fans," Jones said. "It's pretty amazing and it's an honor as well to have me throwing out the first pitch this season opener, so I mean it's a blessing, and I'm excited and honored they would choose me."
Returning for his third year with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron spent most of the offseason trimming weight, adding muscle and getting ready for the 2019 season. A dynamic runner, Jones is anticipated to be a favorite with new Packer coach Matt LeFleur’s outside zone running scheme.
