Back in 1988, when Sanders made history at Oklahoma, logging 2,628 rushing yards. Eleven games only - that's how long it took him to grab the Heisman Trophy. Bowl credentials weren't part of NCAA totals at the time. Even after dashing for 222 yards during that postseason clash, none got counted toward his mark.
