Various speaking topics are provided, including more than 50 public school programs each year that focus on intervention and making positive choices. Faith-based outreaches that teach on the love and grace of God are often provided within the community as well.

Received the Chad Pennington Professional Athlete of the Year award from the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame in July 2013...High school: Named “Mr. Football” for Class AA in Tennessee as a senior at Alcoa (Tenn.) JOHN KUHN’S Honoring the Veterans who H Fought for Our Freedom Our nation’s Armed Forces honor our freedom by fighting for it. Now, with the help of Green Bay fan favorite John Kuhn, we are honoring their sacrifice by learning what it was like for them as they served thousands of miles from home in letters they wrote to their loved ones. Each week, beginning July 4 through Veteran’s Day, we will publish an actual letter that was sent home by a Veteran of World War II, Korea, Vietnam or the Middle East during wartime. These letters show the struggle of everyday Americans who were called to nobly defend their country. And they show the hardships they faced not knowing how their role in history might end. On Veteran’s Day, a special section of this newspaper will feature even more stories and memories-and you’ll learn what it means to truly Honor Our Freedom. Included will be the 98 men and women who served in Korea and Vietnam and took part in the May 16 Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., accompanied by John Kuhn, who talked with the veterans as they paid tribute at the war memorials in our nation’s capital. Packers John Kuhn joins 98 veterans on May 16, 2016 HONOR FLIGHT out of Wausau. No one really knows whether John will return this season to the Packers. What we do know is John is truly humbled and honored to spend the day at numerous Washington DC sites such as: Korean and Veteran Memorials, Arlington Cemetary and a bus tour @ DC seeing the White House with 98 military veterans. #Freedom

On Tuesday, April 12 we had a great time at the 5th annual Wisconsin Sports Awards put on by Good Karma Brands at The American Club in Kohler, Wisc.

The stars were out including Packers QB Brett Hundley, WR Ty Montgomery, Mike Daniels, Badger and NFL hopeful Joe Schobert, Bo Ryan and Barry Alvarez. Some very talented professional athletes received awards that were much deserved, including our friend Mike Daniels, who won Professional Athlete of the Year.

Daniels just earned a huge four-year contract extension with the Green Bay Packers that many fans are excited about, to say the least. In the 2015-16 season, Daniels had a total of 27 tackles, four sacks, one interception and one forced fumble. He is a key player on the Packers’ defense.
