Mayfield Sports once again teamed up with Gross Motors to give local Packer fans a chance to meet one of their favorites. Cornerback Jaire Alexander talked with fans, signed autographs, and posed for pictures as part of Gross Motors of Marshfield’s Customer Appreciation Celebration.
“Jaire, with his personality, is always fun to be around,” shared Mark Mayfield, owner of Mayfield Sports, “and anytime you can bring a first-round pick, having the season Jaire had last year to meet the fans is going to be a blast. Mike and Jodi do a great job of hosting these events and we’re always excited when we can get things like this scheduled.”
Debuting against the Chicago Bears in the Green Bay Packer’s season-opener, Jaire posted three solo tackles during the Packer’s 24-23 win. He earned his first half-sack the following week during the teams tie with the Minnesota Vikings and his first career interception in week four in a game the Packer’s easily won 22-0 against the Buffalo Bills.
In total, Alexander finished the 2018 season with 11 starts, one quarterback hit along with a half-sack, 11 pass breakups, one interception, three tackles that resulted in lost yardage, and 66 total tackles. He led the Packers in defended passes while finishing second in total tackles behind Blake Martinez and being recognized by Pro Football Focus as the NFL cornerback with the highest percentage of contested passes during the 2018 season.

Mayfield Sports, Packer legends and Super Bowl Champions filled the third floor of Wandos in Madison, Wisconsin Thursday, May 30, 2019, for an autograph session to help raise funds for Tellurian, a local organization providing a secure and safe place for individuals in the recovery process from drugs and alcohol.
The group of ten Packer Legends including Ahman Green, Gilbert Brown, LeRoy Butler, Santana Dotson, Antonio Freeman, Bernado Harris, Earl Dotson, Eugene Robinson, Kevin Barry, and William Henderson participated in the 22nd Annual Tellurian Celebrity Golf Tournament at The Legend of Bergamont before packing the third floor of Wando’s for and evening of autograph signing, eating, and fun.

Fans had the unique opportunity to meet, take photos and get autographs from eight Super Bowl Champions (Freeman, Harris, E Dotson, Robinson, Brown, Butler, S. Dotson, and Henderson), five Pro-Bowlers (Green, Freeman, Robinson, Butler, and Henderson) and five Green Bay Hall of Famers (Brown,Green, Freeman, Butler, Henderson) all in the same room.

Mayfield Sports and Green Bay Packer Aaron Jones were on hand the evening of Saturday, June 1, 2019, as the Green Bay Booyah hosted their home opener against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at Capital Credit Union Park with Booyah mascot, Rocky Bal-Booyah surprising fans with a helicopter entrance prior to the Booyah taking the field.
Jones, wearing a personalized #33 Booyah jersey was around before the game to meet, sign commemorative autographs, and take photos with fans before throwing out the first pitch of the game.

"I'm here to throw out the first pitch and meet some fans," Jones said. "It's pretty amazing and it's an honor as well to have me throwing out the first pitch this season opener, so I mean it's a blessing, and I'm excited and honored they would choose me."
Returning for his third year with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron spent most of the offseason trimming weight, adding muscle and getting ready for the 2019 season. A dynamic runner, Jones is anticipated to be a favorite with new Packer coach Matt LeFleur’s outside zone running scheme.

Packers Hall of Famer Jerry Kramer to Appear at Four Big Top Sports & Entertainment Ballparks
Kramer will appear in Wisconsin Rapids, Madison, Green Bay, and Kenosha from June 25th-28th
Ashwaubenon, Wis.-Big Top Sports & Entertainment, which owns and operates four teams in the Northwoods League along with Mayfield Sports Marketing, announced today that Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer Jerry Kramer will make a statewide tour to their four ballparks from June 25th through June 28th this summer.
Kramer will appear at the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters game on Tuesday, June 25th followed by the Madison Mallards game on Wednesday, June 26th. From there he will make a return to Titletown where he will appear at the Green Bay Booyah game on Thursday, June 27th before rounding out his statewide tour at the Kenosha Kingfish game on Friday, June 28th.
“We’re extremely honored to welcome one of the Packers all-time legends back to Titletown,” said Vice President John Fanta. “With Capital Credit Union Park nestled in the shadows of Lambeau Field, I can’t think of a more fitting addition than to have Mr. Kramer join us at the new ballpark for a Booyah game this summer.”
Jerry Kramer’s appearance at each stadium will be twofold. For the first 60 minutes after gates open, 6:00-7:00, Kramer will sign autographs on photos provided by each team for 100 VIP ticket holders. No personal items will be signed during this time. A limited number of VIP ticket packages are on sale now for $45 and include a reserved box seat to the June 27th Booyah game, photo of Kramer, and guaranteed autograph from the Packers Hall of Famer during the first 60-minute time slot. The VIP ticket package can be purchased online at booyahbaseball.com or by clicking on the buy tickets link on the Booyah Facebook event page starting April 8th.
Kramer will throw out the first pitch prior to the Booyah Game. At the conclusion of the first pitch, he will return to the autograph site in each stadium for a public session hosted by Mayfield Sports Marketing. At this time fans may have personal Packers items autographed at the rate of $50 for photos (11x14 or smaller), mini helmets and $60 for jerseys, full-size helmets, artwork, and footballs. All autographs include the HOF inscription. Additional inscriptions such as Super Bowl Champs, etc. will be $15 each. Mayfield Sports will also have merchandise available for purchase at each site such as photos, footballs, jerseys, mini/full-size helmets, and HOF items.
Kramer, who played football at the University of Idaho, was drafted by the Packers in the fourth round (39th overall) of the 1958 NFL Draft. He started for the Packers from 1958 to 1968 playing most of his 11-season career under the direction of Hall of Fame Coach Vince Lombardi. Upon entering into the NFL, he was hailed as one of the best blockers in the game and earned his first All-NFL recognition in 1960. Kramer played a total of 130 career games as the Packers right guard and served as the team’s placekicker for several seasons. His leadership and talents helped the franchise capture five NFL championships and victories in Super Bowls I and II. Kramer earned All-NFL honors a total of five times (1960, 1962-63, 1966-67) and was voted to three Pro Bowls. He was also named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1960s, the NFL’s 50th Anniversary Team in 1969 and the Super Bowl Silver Anniversary Team. He was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 4th, 2018 at age 82.
The Green Bay Booyah open up the season on Tuesday, May 28th at 7:05 in Traverse City, Michigan. Capital Credit Union Park will host the first Booyah home game against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters on Saturday, June 1st at 7:05. Single game tickets go on sale Friday, April 26th at 9 a.m.

Champ Bailey began his career with Washington in 1999 as the seventh overall draft choice. He moved to Denver in 2004, and led the NFL in interceptions with 10 in 2006. Bailey, who also dabbled on offense, had 52 career picks, made three All-Pro teams and also was on the all-decade team of 2000-2010. Bailey and Ed Reed were standout defensive backs for stout units. The 24th overall draft selection in 2002, Reed played 11 seasons in Baltimore, three times leading the league in interceptions. Among his 64 career picks were returns for touchdowns of 106 and 107 yards. He made five All-Pro squads, was the 2004 Defensive Player of the Year, and joined Gonzalez on the all-decade team. Reed won a Super Bowl in the 2012 season.
Gonzalez retired in 2013 after 17 pro seasons in which he had 1,325 receptions, second to Jerry Rice on the career list. A college basketball and football star at California, he was drafted 13th overall by the Chiefs in 1997 and played a dozen seasons in Kansas City. Gonzalez spent his final five seasons with Atlanta, finishing with 111 touchdown catches and 15,127 yards receiving. He made six All-Pro teams and was a member of the all-decade team for 2000-10
Finalists from 2018 who are nominated again include running back Edgerrin James; wide receiver Isaac Bruce; offensive linemen Kevin Mawae, Steve Hutchinson, Alan Faneca and Tony Boselli; safety John Lynch; and cornerback Ty Law.
The roster of nominees has 47 offensive players, 39 defensive players, five special teams players and 11 coaches. Among those coaches are Super Bowl champions Bill Cowher, Tom Flores, Mike Holmgren, Jimmy Johnson and Dick Vermeil.
The modern-era nominees will be reduced to 25 semifinalists in November and, from there, to 15 finalists in January. A senior committee finalist, former Chiefs defensive back Johnny Robinson, and two finalists from the contributors category, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen and former Cowboys executive and current NFL consultant Gil Brandt, also have been nominated.
Voting by the 48-member Hall of Fame panel will be held Feb. 2, the day before the Super Bowl, in Atlanta. Inductions in the Canton, Ohio, shrine will be in early August.
