Allen Lazard Inks New Contract With the New York Jets
Jordan Schultz reports that Lazard has agreed to a four-year deal worth $44M and $22M of that guaranteed with the New York Jets. Lazard leaves Green Bay after four seasons and is now taking the next step in his career.

The 27-year-old Lazard caught 169 passes for 2,236 yards and 20 touchdowns in his five seasons with the Packers. Lazard got better as the years went on and had a career season in 2022 as a go-to target for Aaron Rodgers in the Packers' offense.
Allen Lazard is known for doing the dirty work on the field consistently. He has become one of the best blocking wide receivers in the NFL. Lazard has been seen consistently blocking his defender 10-15 yards past the line of scrimmage. The NFL certainly recognized his game and paid him accordingly.
New Allen Lazard Contract Followed By Commitment from Aaron Rodgers
The Allen Lazard contract is not the only exciting news for the New York Jets franchise and its fans. On the March 15 edition of the "Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers confirmed that he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023.

The future Hall-of-Famer, spoke glowingly about Lazard during the interview, sharing his appreciation for the receiver's work ethic and leadership in the locker room.
This pending reunion with Rodgers also comes with regrouping with the former Packers offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett. In 2021, under the direction of Hackett in the gold zone, Lazard posted a career-high eight TDs on just 60 targets.
The new Allen Lazard contract has the veteran joining a talented receiver room led by Garrett Wilson, the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year. Expect a big season from the Lazard-Rodgers connection and many memorable moments along the way in 2023.
