Ha Ha Clinton Dix

The Green Bay Packers drafted Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to be a key player in their defense in 2014. He was selected with the 21st overall pick in the draft and wore No. 21 during five successful seasons with the Packers.

Clinton-Dix Time With the Packers

Cinton-Dix attended the University of Alabama, where he won two National Championships. Coming from a school with a championship standard, he understood the importance of winning when he got to Titletown.

He made 10 starts as a rookie and had two interceptions in the playoffs. Both of those interceptions came in the NFC Championship Game against the Seattle Seahawks. Even though the Packers lost the game, Clinton-Dix showed the team they had a ball hawk on their defense.

Clinton-Dix started the next 55 games for the Packers. He was not only a key player for the team, but he was consistently healthy and available to take the field. His best seaosn with the Packers came in 2026, when he was named a Pro Bowler for the first time and was a Second-Team All-Pro.

In 71 games for the Packers, he had 14 interceptions, 25 passes defended, three forced fumbles and 378 tackles. However, the Packers traded him to the Washington Commanders franchise in 2018.

Post Packers Career

He finished the 2018 season with Washington before joining the Chicago Bears in 2019. Like the Packers, the Bears are a historic franchise with a rich history. He signed a one-year, $5.5 million deal with the team and started all 16 games.

In Week 3 of the season, the Bears took ok Washington, and Clinton-Dix had two interceptions against his former team. He also scored his first career touchdown. Those two interceptions ended up being the only two of his season. He made 78 tackles and had five passes defended on the season as well.

In 2020, Clinton-Dix signed with the Dallas Cowboys, joining former head coach Mike McCarthy, but did not appear in a game for the team. In 2021, he signed with the San Francisco 49ers, but once again did not appear in a game.

He played two games with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 after signing to the practice squad. In December 2022, Clinton-Dix announced his retirement by signing a one-day contract with the Packers, the team where he spent most of his career. He is now the Director of Player Development at the University of Alabama.

Clinton-Dix also founded the HERO Foundation. The organization aims to provide economically-challenged students with a voice of motivation, empowerment and encouragement to achieve academic excellence.
