How does a guy from Palo Alto, CA, find his way to being a starter on the Frozen Tundra for the Green Bay Packers? It’s simple: be one of the best wide receivers in the country, leave college after two seasons, get drafted by the Packers and start a month into your rookie season. Davante Adams, at age 26, is living the Green Bay dream.
At Palo Alto High School, Adams was known for playing both sides of the ball. A true athlete, he also lettered four years in basketball and averaged 20 ppg as a senior. Soon, the Mountain West Conference and Fresno State came calling and Adams showed his stuff.
