Fans nationwide have the opportunity to see Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones in the media on Wednesday evening.

Jones is featured on the premiere of NFL Films Presents at 5:00 p.m. CT on FS1, documenting his journey from Green Bay to Oakland and back again.

Another aspect of Jones' life, which the program will presumably touch upon, is the time he spent homeless as a child in the Bay Area in California.

If you don't get your fix of Jones on FS1, he also this week's host of Green Bay Nation, which can be seen locally at 6:30 p.m. on WFRV channel 5 in Green Bay, according to the show's Twitter account.

As for the team, the Packers will hold their first practice of the week in preparation for the Arizona Cardinals in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Mike McCarthy has described Wednesday's practice as being an abbreviated session due to having the game on Saturday as opposed to the usual Sunday.

Observers will be watching the status of several injured players and whether they can return: wide receiver Davante Adams (knee), cornerback Sam Shields (concussion), offensive lineman David Bakhtiari (ankle) and cornerback Quinten Rollins (quadricep) among others.

The Packers will also release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday afternoon when more will be learned.

McCarthy will hold a press conference at 11:05 a.m. CT to be streamed live on Packers.com.

Also on Wednesday evening, McCarthy's weekly television show also airs at 6:30 p.m. on six affiliates across the region. Details can be found at Packers.com.

Finally, the Packers have also started a series of initiatives every day of the day week to celebrate this upcoming Sunday's match-up with the Cardinals in the NFL playoffs.

Earlier in the 2015 Holiday season we collaborated with Make-a-Wish Wisconsin and Gannett Media Wisconsin to introduce you to our partner Green Bay Packer James Jones’ newest friend, 8-year-old Maggie.

Maggie, who was diagnosed with leukemia at only 6-years-old, met Jones and unveiled her holiday drawing on a very special November day.  Her drawing was created into an one of a kind postcard that was sold at Fox Valley Copps and Pick n’ Save locations during the holiday season. All net proceeds made from the postcards were to be donated to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Make-a-Wish Wisconsin.

Today, we are honored and humbled to announce that Maggie’s postcard raised almost $5,000 for two very influential and inspiring organizations.

We want to thank Make-a-Wish Wisconsin, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and Gannett for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful case, the Catch-a-Star program. We also want to send out a huge thank you to anyone who bought one of Maggie’s cards, you made someone's Holiday a little bit sweeter this year.

Meet the Greek Freak at Mayfield Sports' upcoming public autograph signing Wednesday, January 6th at Legends of the Field in Delafield.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will be signing items from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Tickets for the signing and items such as basketballs, photos and jerseys will be sold prior to the event at both the Delafield and Greenfield locations of Legends of the Field.

At only 18 years old, Giannis was the first round pick for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013. Now at age 20, he already has a career total of 1640 points. So far this season, he has 447 points and is averaging 15.4 points per game.

Join us Thursday, October 29 at Waukesha Sports for a public autograph session with former Green Bay Packer and Super Bowl Champ, Nick Collins.

Collins played safety for the Green Bay Packers for a total of seven seasons and 95 games. By the end of his career he had a total of 21 interceptions, four of which were returned for touchdowns, 342 total tackles, and four fumbles recovered, just to name a few of his contributions to the Green Bay defense.

During Super Bowl XLV, Collins contributed to the victory by picking off an under-thrown pass thrown by Ben Roethlisberger in the first quarter, and took it back for a 37-yard touchdown making the score 14-0 Packers. He finished the game with four solo tackles and one pass defended.
