During a recent interview on the show "Highly Questionable", our friend and partner James Jones talked about his struggles with homelessness as a child and how it has inspired him today to not only stay humble as one of the top wide receivers in the league, but also to start his own non-profit foundation.
Love Jones 4 Kids Foundation was started by Jones and his wife, Tamika. The mission of the foundation is to "enrich the lives of children living in disadvantaged and underserved communities by conducting and sponsoring a variety of programs to help young people overcome obstacles, stay in school and prepare for challenges in life."
Jones also shared a romantic, yet semi-humorous story while on the show. He shared the story of his proposal to his wife. It took place at one of her favorite restaurants, Red Lobster. Jones went to the restaurant the day before he popped the question to set the proposal up. The next night when they were out for dinner, not only did Tamika's favorite delicious cheddar biscuits get served to their table, but along came a diamond ring with Tamika's name on it!

Brett Hundley made a name for himself this preseason after he was selected by the Green Bay Packers during the 5th round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
The rookie quarterback from UCLA had the second most leading passing yards, throwing a total of 630 passing yards during the preseason and completing 45 out of 65 attempted passes. He also had seven touchdowns, more than any other QB in the league during the preseason.
After tackling his first preseason as a Green Bay Packer, Hundley is now heading up to the Upper Peninsula to help tackle hunger.
On Tuesday, October 27, Mayfield Sports Marketing and Brett Hundley made their way up to Elmer's County Market in Escanaba, MI, where Hundley would be signing autographs for the price of only a food donation to go towards a great cause.
Escanaba Public Safety and the Green Bay Packers joined forces and put on a food drive to help support the community foundation’s “Feed the Kids” backpack program.
There are five schools that participate in the backpack program and who will be receiving the donations of food. The donations will then get passed on to needy and underprivileged youth, to help carry them through weekends and extended breaks from school, when they may not be getting fed as much as they do on a school day.
The food drive at the county market was held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with Hundley making his appearance at 6 p.m. and staying until 7:30 p.m.
With the help of Escanaba Public Safety, the Green Bay Packers, Elmer's County Market, Brett Hundley, and a very special thanks to Detective Tony LaPant, the food drive was a huge success, and far exceeded last year's event. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event possible!
